This alkaline mineral material bath supports the decomposition of noxious substances and acid via the skin. With the skin being the body’s largest excretion organ, supporting its decomposition of noxious substances and acid is recommended. The bath temperature should be about body temperature, i.e. about 37 °C. The alkaline pH-value of the bathwater fosters the decomposition of acid via the skin while at the same time balancing the pH-value to a physiological level of approx. 7.4. The resulting osmotic pressure causes acid to be decomposed via the skin.
