It is formed when carbon dioxide is dissolved in water and reacts with sodium ions, which can occur in some natural bodies of water such as lakes and rivers. In biochemistry according to Dr Schuessler, it is assumed that sodium bicarbonicum helps to regulate the acid-base balance and can support detoxification.

Note for diabetics:
48 tablets correspond to one bread unit.
Recommended usage:
Adults and children over 12 years: Allow 1 tablet to dissolve in the mouth 1–3 times daily.
For acute symptoms: Take 1 tablet every 3–5 minutes.
It is recommended to take the tablet 10 minutes before or after a meal.
