Addendum to the Privacy Policy:
Change of Ownership & Transfer of Operations
1. Subject of the change of ownership
Effective 1 February 2026, a change of ownership will take place at Adler Apotheke. The business will be transferred from the previous operator, Mag. pharm. Niedan KG, to Mag. pharm. Höllwerth and Mag. pharm. Niedan-Feichtinger OG.
2. Type and scope of data transfer
To ensure the continuity of your pharmaceutical care and professional consultation, the data stored in our system will be transferred to the new legal entity. This includes:
- Master data: Name, address, email address, date of birth, and contact details.
- Order data: Your previous order history and pharmaceutical documentation.
3. Legal basis and technical login consent
We place the highest value on protecting your sensitive data. Therefore, processing takes place on two levels:
- Master data (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR): We transfer your basic account data (including your login email address) on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring the continued operation of the pharmacy.
- Health data (Art. 9 GDPR): As your order history contains sensitive health data that requires special protection, this data will only be transferred in full with your express consent.
Consent to data transfer upon login
To continue using your customer account after 31 January 2026, you will need to actively consent the next time you log in to the online shop. This confirms your express consent for your customer account and previous order data to be transferred to the new owner (Mag. pharm. Höllwerth and Mag. pharm. Niedan-Feichtinger OG).
Note: Without this confirmation, you will not be able to log in to your account or access your order history for privacy protection reasons. Once you have given your consent, all functions and your order history will be available as usual.
